The main focus of the work is the molecular interaction between the protozoan parasite Toxoplasma gondii and the host cell. This facultative intracellular parasite seems alters some physiological features of the host cell (e.g. induction of migration in DC, resistance to Apoptosis). The target is to identify the molecular mechanism by which Toxoplasma influences the host cell.
